5th Degree Civil Service Examination
Completing this exam will allow the student to be employed as the 5th degree civil servant in the Administration. The exam is conducted once a year and has subcategories including general administration, law administration, finance and economy, education, social welfare, labor, correction, probation and prosecution. Besides, each local government holds the 5th degree local Civil Service Examination separately once a year
7th Degree Civil Service Examination
It is to employ 7th degree civil servant in the administration. The exam is conducted once a year. Generally, the exam is divided into 7~8 categories including administration, diplomatic administration, taxation, customs, audit, correction and prosecution administration. Besides, local governments, education offices and the Secretariat of the National Assembly holds open recruitment of 7th degree civil servants.
9th Degree Civil Service Examination
It is to employ 9th degree civil servant in the administration. The exam is conducted once a year. Generally, the exam is divided into about 10 categories including administration (general, rural, postal services, and railway), taxation, correction, public relation, probation and prosecution administration. Besides, Local governments, education offices and the Secretariat of the National Assembly holds open recruitment of the 9th degree civil servants.

Graduate Schools (Master’s and Doctor’s course)
Graduate School is a career path for graduates who want to study deeper and who want to work in a job which requires deeper knowledge. Students who want to study in graduate schools should read many books in various fields (politics, social studies, economics, business management, history, philosophy, and so on). Graduate school entrance exam basically requires major and English test and sometimes requires the secondary foreign language or other designated subjects. After completing mater’s or undergraduate course, students may study abroad for even deeper research. First thing to prepare is TOEFL. A score higher than 550 in TOEFL is required to get admission of master’s course in the United States. However, some graduate schools in the U.S. require scores higher than 580 and sometimes GRE (Graduate Record Examination) scores.
